Responsibilities:

• Safely deliver live chicks and hatching eggs to their destination.

• Load and unload live chicks and hatching eggs.

• Communicate delivery times.

• Meet delivery deadlines, plan for traffic delays, and monitor weather conditions.

• Complete a pre-trip and post-trip safety check.

• Communicate with management needed maintenance.

• Maintain vehicle trip records.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, ability to work well under pressure, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, familiarity with local streets and routes, and ability to solve problems.

Requirements:

• Availability to work a varying schedule that may include days and nights.

• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.

• Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50lbs each on a regular basis.
