    PART-TIME LABORER

    Starting Pay $15.00 Per Hour

    Job Duties

    • Assist in cleaning egg trays post hatch
    • Making boxes
    • Transfer/candeling eggs
    • Cleaning flock pens
    • Assist in collecting eggs/providing feed to flocks
    • Sanitizing machinery
    • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
    • Typical hours are 8am to 4pm Wed-Fri (Hatch day hours vary). Depending on time of year schedule may change.

    • Comfortable working in warm, humid environments
    • Attention to detail and willingness to follow procedures
    • Prior experience with poultry or hatchery work is a plus, but not required

    • Submit to random drug testing
    • Maintain biosecurity procedures at all times
    • Be a team player and work well with others
    • Self-motivated with good time management skills
    • Have a good work ethic and a willingness to follow instructions.

    PART-TIME DELIVERY DRIVER

    Starting Pay $15.00 Per Hour

    Hours Vary Per Hatchery Needs

    Job Duties

    • Safely transporting baby chicks and eggs to farms, customers, and other locations
    • Handling live animals and fragile eggs with care to ensure safe delivery
    • Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
    • Maintaining cleanliness of delivery vehicle and equipment
    • Following biosecurity and animal welfare protocols
    • Keeping accurate delivery records and providing excellent customer service
    • Occasional overnight trips (accommodations provided)

    Qualifications

    • Must be 25 years of age or older
    • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
    • Comfortable driving a delivery vehicle for local/regional routes
    • Prior experience with animal transport, farm work, or delivery driving is a plus

    PART-TIME ORDER FULFILLMENT

    Starting Pay $15.00 Per Hour

    Job Duties

    • Assists in packing, boxing, and shipping boxes of poultry
    • Create postage labels according to packing slips
    • Match different breeds according to SKU numbers
    • Follow packing directions given by General Manager
    • Assist with loading delivery vans
    • Assist with sanitizing work area at the end of shift
    • Must be flexible with availability (hours will vary depending on the season with shifts starting as early as 6AM)
    • This position works one day a week on hatch days
